450 students of John Paul College, along with Australian music identities Glenn Shorrock, Wilbur Wilde, Frankie J Holden and Michelle Pettigrove, will perform in the round at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from August 14 to 16.

No real fan will want to miss this summer lovin' spectacular, and half the profits go to the Wesley Breast Clinic.

Greazefest

Greazefest is Australia's annual kustom culture festival and it's on August 1st to 3rd at Davies Park in West End.

It's a festival with rockabilly and psychobilly music, custom cars, vintage bikes and low riders, pin-striping, skin art, dancing and fashion.

There are heaps of wicked events, including the greazers ball, sinners ball, street cruise, party, and the Sunday Hot Rod Show, and it sounds like quite a spectacle.

Bunya Mountains National Park Centenary

Every day is a great day to visit one of the great south east's beautiful national parks… but Saturday August 2nd is a particularly good one.

It's been 100 years since the official opening of Bunya Mountains National Park, and rangers at this beautiful spot about 2 hours north northwest of Toowoomba will be celebrating with a free sausage sizzle, story-telling, guided walks, displays and children's activities.

The fun will continue into the night with spotlight walks and stories around the fire, so it's a great excuse to get away to the mountains for a winter weekend.

The Way We Wear Vintage Fashion Fair

The Way We Wear Vintage Fashion Fair is a stylish affair that is on at the Community Hall at the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds on the first weekend of August.

This time round, the clothing will largely be from the 1940s, a time when women managed to create some amazing pieces with very limited resources. Vintage clothing is all the rage right now, so don't miss the opportunity to keep up with the times by stepping back in time.
