The Great South East celebrates over 900 episodes on air in 2014 and now some new faces are joining the team!

Host Sofie Formica will again be joined by the familiar Laurel Edwards and Liz Cantor.

Now, chef Alastair McLeod, the Sunday Mail’s Damien Anthony Rossi and mum Jillian Whiting join the team full time.

Known for his unmistakable Irish brogue, Alastair is an ardent supporter of the local food industry and strongly believes the closer you are to the source of your good, the better it will taste.

Damien Anthony Rossi will take viewers behind-the-scenes of Queensland’s premier shows, interviewing celebrities and previewing the exciting entertainment and events in the Great South East.

For the past four years, Jillian Whiting has been juggling life on the road with Channel Seven’s Queensland Weekender as well as the demands of a young family.

Join them all at 5.30pm every Sunday on Seven.
