Queensland Business Leaders Hall of Fame 2012
As early as the 1840s Brisbane had a heart of commerce in Queen Street. Humble beginnings perhaps, but in the space of 152 years there have been some remarkable local business successes.
The Business Leaders Hall of Fame began four years ago and already 28 nominees have made the list, with this year’s inductees soon to be announced.
The aim was to capture great stories of achievement, and make them accessible.
There are still tickets available for this year’s black tie Queensland Business Leaders Hall of Fame induction dinner at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
You can visit the permanent display at the State Library of Queensland or go online to hear some of the stories. Of course the aim is to create a permanent public record of business leadership in Queensland, so please get in touch if you have anything to donate.
