Villa Cavour
Villa Cavour Bed & Breakfast lies just 50 metres from the Esplanade at Point Vernon in Hervey Bay. It offers three spacious bedrooms with king size beds and en suites.
The B&B was created by Mara and Rocco Turina. They come from the town of Cavour in the north west Italian region of Piemonte. After visiting Hervey Bay on holiday, they decided to make it their new home and in the process they brought a little bit of Italy to the beachside community.
Mara also happens to be the President of the Fraser Coast Cultural Festival which is held during the last weekend of March each year. And Rocco adds a unique flavour to the B&B by offering cooking classes to guests and members of the general public. Rocco is a talented chef with more than 45 years experience in restaurants around the world.
A cooking class with Rocco begins at just $60. While a night at Villa Cavour Bed and Breakfast starts at $135 for one person or $150 for two people.
