Dayboro Cottages 
The Dayboro Cottages are located in the Samford Valley just 40 minutes from Brisbane. They give city dwellers the chance to swap the office with rolling green hills and fresh country air.
Dianne North and husband Ross came to Dayboro in 2006 and built their dream cottages one at a time, inspired by the notion of sharing the area with as many people as possible. The result is five fantastic pole homes built to show off the views of the Samford Valley and with relaxation in mind.
However, if great accommodation and magnificent views aren’t enough, there is also the opportunity to make friends with Dianne and Ross’s beloved four legged children – the llamas! The couple fell in love with the Llamas many years ago and now they are permanent residents at Dayboro Cottages so visitors can enjoy their company on a “llama walk’’.
Dianne is offering Queensland Weekender viewers the chance to stay three days for the price of two. For $360 the package also includes an indulgent breakfast hamper and a llama walk with refreshments. Bookings are essential.
