Yamaha Marine PWC Show Love ‘em or hate ‘em there’s no denying the fact that personal watercraft have become the adrenaline junkies weapon of choice out on the water.
Huge air and soft landings were the call of the day when the best jet-pilots in the Country faced off against the world champions at the Australian Freeride Championships, held recently on the Gold Coast. In freeride competition lightweight standup skis are the tools of the trade, like Yamaha’s Superjet, which are heavily modified for performance and to personal taste.
Flying Frenchman Pierre Manxient lived up to his reputation as an aerial master, taking out first place at the competition, with the bragging rights, a trophy and a new Yamaha Superjet for his troubles.
If a career jetting around the world and freeriding the best surf breaks on the globe sounds like your cup of tea, then the Yamaha website is a good place to start. There you’ll find all the info on the entire range of Waverunners, from standups to the more sedate sitdowns.
