Palmwoods Palmwoods is just south of Nambour, and not that far down the hill from Maleny, Montville and Mapleton, and it’s worth a stop in its own right, if you’re enjoying a day drive in the region.
There are all sorts of interesting businesses in the town, but one in particular will appeal to crafty types. Totally Patchwork is well known as a treasure trove for embroiderers and those who sew, and the regular Thursday morning needlepoint group class is quite the occasion!
If you enjoy a culinary challenge then you must stop at Rick’s Diner on the main road passing through. Its extensive menu includes a home made hamburger that you couldn’t climb over. Authentic diner décor adds to the ambience of the joint.
And healthy living is encouraged by Jay D Mulder at the Ayurvedic Herb Shed on Hill Street. Jay is known as the Eumundi Medicine Man, and he is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to balance and well being.
