Nordic Walking The sport of Nordic Walking originated in Finland where it began as a summer training program for cross-country skiers. Now, Heike Bentin-Carroll teaches it here in south-east Queensland.
The activity employs poles not dissimilar to those used by snow skiers. Nordic Walking delivers a full-body workout, improved balance and aerobic exercise plus the chance to socialize with others.
Heike offers a free trial lesson before you commit to a course.
