Rio Rythmics Tarcisio Teatini-Climaco arrived in Australia twenty years ago and started to teach Latin (and more specifically Brazilian) dance. Now his very popular West End studio, Rio Rhythmics, celebrates its 15th birthday this year.
Tarcisio encourages anyone with a love of dance to try a one and a half hour introductory lesson to learn more about some of the many South American styles. There are dance lessons at Rio Rhythmics every night of the week, and dance parties every weekend. Tarcisio thinks that Anglo Saxon culture encourages people to be stand-offish, and he enjoys breaking down those barriers with the movement and fun that is so important to his culture.
