Go Ride a Wave
The thrill of surfing is something that everyone should experience at least once. If you have always wanted to give it a go, but need a push in the right direction, then joining surfing lessons is a great way to gain confidence and build your skills.
RACQ members are offered discounted lessons at Go Ride A Wave, a surf school that has been operating in Queensland for 21 years.
All the instructors are fully qualified life guards and surf coaches. They don’t guarantee that you’ll hang ten in your first lesson, but the soft malibu surfboards are beginner friendly and make the task easier.
Lessons last for two hours and are held at Surfers Paradise and Noosa. If you want to get hooked on the lifestyle of surfing in a safe environment then jump on the travel page of the RACQ website.
You must pre-purchase tickets and it’s as simple as clicking on the site’s travel prompt and looking for tourist attractions. Or you can drop into your local RACQ branch to enrol, or book over the phone.
