Flanagan Reserve

Flanagan Reserve is a great camping spot about two hours out of Brisbane, right near Rathdowney. It’s seated at the foot of Mt Maroon, and is easily accessible for caravans and motor homes.

It has all the essentials like a kiosk, modern toilet facilities with hot water showers, and wood for the campfire.

The best feature though is the Logan River which flows through the reserve. The water hole is always full and it’s a great spot for a swim or a fish.

It costs $5 for adults, $2 for kids aged up to fifteen and it’s free for the little ones under five. The showers are coin operated.
