Suzuki Quad Setup The people at Woody Marine at Tingalpa have just built a RIB, or Rigid Inflatable Boat, that is destined for eco tourism work at Foster in New South Wales.
What’s really special about this Naiad is that it has four Suzuki DF300 outboard engines strapped to the back of it, giving it 1200 horse power. Attaching four, 300hp four stroke outboards to the boat makes it the first Suzuki setup of its kind anywhere in the world.
The Suzuki DF300 is the world’s first 300 horse power four stroke outboard. It boasts the best power to weight ration in its class, making it perfect for saltwater heavy hitters like offshore fishing boats, cruisers and power catamarans.
The V6 4.0 litre large displacement engine weighs in at only 274 kilogram (25” shaft model) and is based on a narrow, 55-degree block using Suzuki’s offset driveshaft design for a compact overall size and better balance on the transom.
The DF300 also features Suzuki Precision Control – an advanced fly-by-wire shift/throttle system and push button starting and like all of Suzuki’s EFI models, is backed by a five year warranty.
